Details
The run will be held March 31st, beginning at the Downtown Y (420 S. Main). Participants will be encouraged to dress like a luchador wrestler and will even be given a discount to do so. Elote’s Luchadors will begin the race with a five minute advantage, and the goal of the runners to follow will be to catch those Luchadors. The run will feature a series of fun obstacles and sites to see, including running past ONEOK Field, the Center of the Universe, the Brady District, the Deco District, the Blue Dome District, and Centennial Park, ending at Elote Cafe for a nacho and cervesa pary with musical guest Project Huckleberry!
The event is family-friendly and there will be plenty of activities for adults and children.
The 1 mile fun run/walk begins at 3pm and the 5k begins at 3:45pm.

Mission
Elote Cafe & Catering, the YMCA and RunnersWorld are teaming up to hold the Elote Luchador Run to benefit Y Kids to Camp. The YMCA believes the each child who wants summer camp experience should have one, regardless of a family’s financial means to provide it. Each year, the Westside Y and Camp Takotoka give thousands of children a safe, fun and life-changing experience.
This year, with YOUR help, the proceeds for the Elote Luchador Run will help send even more Tulsa area kids to camp.
